White sesame: new harvest

We specialize in selling and exporting all types of Sesame which we bring  from our farms located in Sudan. Our company has a team of specialists – they plant sesame seeds with care and watch it grow. Sesame seeds are usually ready for harvesting between 90 to 130 days after planting, and after that time our team starts harvesting and packaging.

Our sesame have storage recommendations, to keep its nutritional benefits, such as store unshelled sesame seeds in dry conditions, protected from rain, humidity and vermin. The seeds must have 10% moisture content and it bagged seeds should not be placed directly on concrete floors because of the high risk of dampness.

Sesame can be stored for maximum 5 years in proper conditions so they don’t lose their viability so for long-term storage, the sesame seeds should be clean have moisture content of no more than 6%, in warehouses with cool temperature and a humidity of approximately 50%.

Sesame seeds are rich in minerals; they are an excellent source of copper and a very good source of calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, and phosphorus. They have two types of beneficial lignan fiber that are not found in other plants. Three tablespoons of sesame seeds provide 3.5 grams of fibe( 12 percent of the reference daily intake).

While sesame seeds have a high-fat content, it is primarily polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fat. These seeds can be a good source of protein, with 5 grams per 3 tablespoons. They have a very low glycemic index, meaning that they do not provoke a rise in blood sugar level after you eat them.
That why sesame white can do wonders for your skin they help the skin remain soft and supple. They are rich in anti-inflammatory properties that are vital in healing redness, sores and other facial skin issues from within also it is good for the bone health, good source of energy, and good for the dental health.

You can sprinkle these nutrient-rich seeds over cereals, noodles or rice. You can also mix them with your yogurt or smoothie to give it that nutty flavor. Also, if you soak these seeds overnight it aids in the absorption of calcium and minerals from the seeds, as well as reduces the effects of oxalic acid found in them that can prevent the absorption of nutrients.
